VTG Yamaji Japan Chrysanthemum Bamboo Dogwood Floral Porcelain Vase.
This beautiful satsuma cream colored vase by Yamaji is in good condition. It is fairly large, measuring 8.75 inches tall and 9 inches wide. It features a crackled glaze with painted scenes of bamboo, dogwood and chrysanthemums. There are also two birds and gold clouds drifting in the sky. Its condition is based on the fact that it has a crack on the front of the vase and a hairline crack on the back. While both of these cracks are present, they blend into the general ambiance of the vase in such a way that they aren’t immediately noticeable. As a result, this piece of folk art is still lovely and useable.
