Norwegian Rosemaled Wood Footed Bowl Rosemaling Master Teacher Inger Svendsen For Sale

Large footed bowl is 12" in diameter, 4" tall, with 3 ball feet.  Painted in 2005 in Seattle, WA by Norwegian immigrant Inger Svendsen.  You can read about her in the last photo.  She was an extraordinary Rosemaler and painted the trunk that was presented to King Harald V of Norway when he visited in 1995.  Her work is displayed at The Leif Erikson Hall in Seattle. She taught Rosemaling at the UofW in addition to being the subject of a documentary on the craft. You will not find a nicer piece of Rosemaling for sale and when this sells, that's it.  Inger passed in 2016.
