Dalton Burslem Flow Blue Platter (Nankin)
Circa: 1900
Price: $180.00 USD
Description: Wonderful old Dalton Burslem Flow Blue Platter in the Nankin pattern. Platter is 15 ½ long & 12 ¾” wide in a beautiful flow blue floral, with gold around the edge. It was circa 1891-1902. The mark on the back in blue says Dalton Burslem England Nankin, a large mark is incised on the back that says Burslem along with the number 47 and something else maybe a number that I cannot make out, also is small surface marks in brown & a blue. It is in very good condition with some crazing due to its age and what feels like a chip on the underside of the edge about the size 1/16’ of an inch. But it is very smooth to the` touch. This is just a beautiful old platter and an asset to any collector.
