Sherbet Dish, Coin Pattern ~ Fostoria

Description: We have a sherbet Dish which is the Coin Pattern manufactured by Fostoria. Fostoria made some Coin Pattern Glass in the 1800s, the contempory version began manufacturing it in the 1960s. In 1983, The Fostoria Company was sold to Lancaster Colony Glass. In 1986, the former Fostoria facility closed its doors. This sherbet dish is in very good condition. The glass is actually crystal clear and sparkles. The coins alternate a picture of an American Eagle and Liberty Flame around the upper portion of the dish. It measures 3.75" tall and 4.5" across. It is beautiful.
