Price: $90.00 USD Description: Vintage water colour painting of a river valley scene. The artist is H. Webster Nash, and this would date somewhere 1930s or later. I think the scene may be the area between Hunterville and Vinegar Hill, North Island, New Zealand. (Although it could be a South Island river!) Although this is unsigned, it comes from a folio of Nash’s works that I have, and is undoubtedly his work. Watercolour measures 33 cm by 43 cm (13 inches by 17 inches). Very good condition.
I have covered this item in cellophane against a card backing to prevent damage in my folio stand, and any reflections or distortions are due to this covering.
