Late 19th to early 20th Century
Price: $84.00 USD Description: A large black metal vase, with Japanese style lacquer work in red and gold of a bird flying through wisteria blossom. Vase measures 33cm high (13 inches) and approx. 18cm (7 inches) wide at its widest point. Under the base, there is the scratched name "Dresdor. France", but this vase is probably Japanese or Chinese. Maybe it was bought in France. No chips or cracks, just a few spots in the lacquer, and fading to the brick red design. A very Edwardian looking vase, would look great with large flowers. Would date from late 19th to early 20th century.
