Circa:
Late 19th Century
Price: $112.00 USD Description: Pretty little glass box, made with metal frame and thick bevelled glass panels. The panels have a leaves etched on them at the sides, and a bird and vines on the top. Inside is a little gimp-trimmed cushion, over an ornately moulded Art Nouveau patterned base. There are a couple of faults - the little prong which would keep the lid closed has broken off, so lid cannot be clicked shut. The brass plate inside the base is sitting loose instead of being tucked under some little corner flanges. Otherwise very good condition. Measures 7.5 cm high, 7.5 cm wide and 7.2 cm deep (3 inches, 3 inches and 2.7/8 inches).
