Description: Georgian period (late 18th- early 19th century) snuff mull, made from a hoof. Mounted in brass, it has a lift-lid stamped with the name “J. Peck”. Excellent condition. measures 12 cm by 5.5 cm and 4 cm high (4.3/4 inches by 2.1/4 inches and 1.1/2 inches high). Lovely looking item, the hoof is polished and very tactile.
