The color is a bright peacock blue that has distinct green overtones in certain lights, and the color intensifies at the top of the lid and the narrowing of the jar where the base is attached. The diamond optic pattern and the teardrop rims are commonly found in handblown Italian glass. The candy jar and the lid are both in excellent condition. Old Cafe Candy Dish with Bullseye Base, Milk Glass, Anchor Hocking

Description: This milk glass candy dish is from the the Old Cafe pattern by Anchor Hocking. It was originally made as the centerpiece of a lazy susan and is usually surrounded by ruby red or forest green trays, and is normally seen is the crystal coloration. It stands 5" tall including the lid and is 6.5" in diameter. This unique pattern has one wide rib alternating with two narrow ribs and ends in a scalloped edge. The base has a bullseye pattern surrounding a center medallion that resembles a spiderweb. This is a great candy dish to use yourself of give as a gift for any occasion.
