For tidbits or just for display as your centerpiece, this server has an golden green background with orange and lime colored circles separated by feathery branches. There is some crazing on the face of the plate and some rough spots around the rim. The pedestal also has some tarnish, but all the pieces are intact. The dish has most of its original label, stating California Cloisonne Hand Decorated Enamel on Copper, Landau and Associates, Los Angeles. A very distinctive piece for anyone who loves enamelware.

Price: $64.00 USD Description: This stunning metal tray has a deep blue color that's been applied so that it looks like hammered metal, a brass center medallion in the shape of a flower, and a foot that looks like a flower stem and two leaves. Wonderfully unique, it is stamped Made in Israel on the bottom of the stem and is in excellent condition with very little sign of use.
The tray is 11.5" across the top and is 3.75" tall. The floral medallion is surrounded by a band of enamelled grapes, fleurs de lis and scrolls in a variety of bright colors. The band has three screws in it, which hold the base of the tray on. I believe that the base is cast brass. See the detail pictures for a full view of the base with the screws coming through the corona of the flower. The tray itself is sandwiched between the base and the floral medallion on the top. This is a very whimsical treatment for a decorative tray, but it has an air of sophistication as well. Not something you'll find in the house next door!

The center medallion is four interlocking "M"s on a copper colored ground. The color becomes a deep purpley brown on the rim. The plate is in excellent condition with two fleabites on the rim, probably caused by a plate hanger. The back is black counterenamel and has three felt feet. There is a foil maker's label, shown in the photo, and beneath that a clear label that states Created especially for The Metropolitan Club 1969.
