Mayfair Cookie or Biscuit Jar, Cobalt Blue, Anchor Hocking

Description: A real beauty! This cobalt blue cookie jar has an open rose pattern which was called Mayfair by Anchor Hocking. The biscuit jar is 7.25" tall including the knob on the lid and 5.5" across. There are a few tiny chips on one corner of the lid and a single fleabite in the rim of the jar itself, but these flaws are both more felt than seen and don't affect its beauty at all. This biscuit jar meets some of the criteria for an original vintage jar as the base has a very indistinct design while the bottom on reproductions is perfectly smooth, and the ends of the stems of the roses cross over each other as in the original pattern. However, I find no record of the original jar being manufactured in cobalt blue. Either way, this lidded jar would be a lovely addition to your cobalt blue collection.

Description: This lovely oversized vase has a pattern of graduating diamonds around the body and a scalloped edge. It is 10" tall and 6" across the mouth and will hold two dozen roses or three market bouquets. This vase in the Wexford pattern by Anchor Hocking, is in excellent condition and will make a dramatic statement on your dining table. A classic pattern with lots of elegance.

Vintage Grape Gold Trim Milk Glass Bowl, Anchor Hocking

Description: This gold trimmed milk glass bowl is in the Vintage or Grape and Leaf pattern by Anchor Hocking. The large grape pattern on the inside is repeated on a smaller scale on the outside of the dish. This serving bowl is about 8.25" by 9.25" including the pointed handles. It stands 2.5" tall. There is minimal wear to the gold trim and no damage to the glass. This lovely bowl is perfect for fruit or as an elegant centerpiece for your holiday table.

Wexford Tiered Tidbit Tray, Anchor Hocking and Coppercraft Guild

Description: A joint endeavor by Anchor Hocking and the Coppercraft Guild, this Wexford tidbit tray stands 11" tall. While we hesitate to call any piece rare, we were not able to find a listing for this tidbit tray anywhere else. The upper tray is 6" in diameter while the lower tray is 11" in diameter. The lower dish is divided into five sections, and the middle section has a copper medallion that forms the base for the upright and finial. The lower tray curves up to a height of 1.25", making it suitable for relishes as well as bonbons or tidbits. This is a unique tray which will add both sparkle and charm to your dining table or buffet.

Old Cafe Crystal Candy Dish with Bullseye Base, Anchor Hocking

Description: This clear glass candy dish is the center piece of the Old Cafe lazy susan and is usually surrounded by ruby red or forest green trays. However, it also makes a wonderful and versatile dish on its own. It stands 5" tall including the lid and is 6.5" in diameter. This unique pattern has one wide rib alternating with two narrow ribs and ends in a scalloped edge. The base has a bullseye pattern surrounding a center medallion that resembles a spiderweb. This is a great candy dish to use yourself of give as a gift for any occasion.

Mayfair Divided Oval Relish Dish with Metal Trim, Anchor Hocking

Description: This clear five section relish dish has an open rose pattern called Mayfair by Anchor Hocking. The entire rim is encased in a pierced metal trim with roses on the handles. The relish dish is 9" by 13.5" including the open handles. This dish meets the criteria for an original vintage piece as the ends of the stems of the roses cross over each other to form the letter A. We have never before seen this dish with this trim and it may have been applied by another manufacturer specializing in decorated glass. Altogether a unique piece to add to your service ware.

Description: This lovely oversized centerpiece bowl has a pattern of graduating diamonds around a rayed center, and a scalloped edge. It is 14" in diameter and comes with a 13.5" underplate. This set, in the Wexford pattern by Anchor Hocking, is in excellent condition and the bowl especially, is rather hard to find. These pieces can double as a fruit bowl and sandwich tray, so you'll find them very versatile. A classic pattern with lots of elegance.
