It is a hard cover, with blue cloth, in good shape, clean pages, binding is holding, but some old and newer tape repairs noted, some of the old tape has darkened, none effecting the text, no dust cover. A good bit of wear on the outside cover, mildly bumped corners. In good read-able condition.

It includes 532 pages of on sport fishing, and type of fish, with many pictures and illustrations. Covering both salt water and fresh water fishing, in regions all over North America. It even has a good chapter on vintage outboard motors! It is in very good shape with a nice clean cloth covered hardcover, the spine has dark color lettering in very good shape, and the pages are clean, very minor age toning on the edges, no writing or damage. A very interesting book, in great shape!

Pages are crisp, mostly clean - a few have a tiny spot in the margin area, does not affect reading; first title page has onion skin covering which has caused slight age darkening over the years. There is a few small areas that the cover cloth is worn through or torn, considered minor, as the book still looks good. The page edges are the gold guilt style, very nice little wear, the inside page are clean with some age toning spots noted, good tight spine, clean cloth cover, very little wear. We note one inside seam repair completed with professional archival tape, and hold just fine, and we note also a gift note inside to a friend in ink. Text is in great shape, no rips, or damage otherwise. It is marked "MACMILLEN AND CO. LONDON AND NEW YORK 1893" and "OUR VILLAGE BY MARY RUSSELL MITFORD, AND ONE HUNDRED ILLUSTRATIONS BY HUGH THOMSON". inside. Nice illustrations, an interesting introduction, and novel!

Inside fly leaves are red and gold marbled paper. Pages are thin silky paper, very clean, no tears, no soiling, or scribbling, no previous owner names or writing. A few pages near the middle show signs of being folded at one time, considered minor creases on the pages. Wonderful frontspiece illustration with tissue guard cover, retains original ribbon marker. Leather has been applied with professional leather book creme restorer which protects the leather and keeps it subtle and soft. Measures 6 1/4 inches x 4 1/2 inches. A wonderful addition to your Dickens collection!
