Description: This ornate hallmarked sterling thimble is a lovely find for your collection and is in wonderful condition except for 3 puncture holes in the silver. These holes are in the textured portion of the side of the thimble so are not obvious until you hold the thimble up to the light.I have recently acquired 2 collections of thimbles so in the next few weeks I hope to list approximately 50 thimbles. Most of them I will be listing individually but I do plan to list some of them in groups too.
This collection consists of porcelain thimbles, metal advertising thimbles, some plastic advertising thimbles,various styles of metal thimbles, a few cloisonne thimbles, some early celluloid thimbles, one pewter thimble,several brass thimbles, one decorated wooden thimble, one silverplated thimble, and 8 sterling silver thimbles.
I can ship up to 3 thimbles at the same shipping charge of $6.75 plus insurance charges. This shipping rate is for shipping to the USA ----other places please ask for shipping quote.
