Spooner
Circa: 1880s
Price: $550.00 USD
Description: This Elephant Glass Spooner is a very rare find. I have researched this item for some time now, and have discovered that it was made by David Baker in the 1880's, and was part of a berry set. Baker made a number of pieces of Elephant Glass for famous people such as P.T. Barnum. This item is in very good condition, and shows some minor signs of wear from use which do not detract from its value. The Elephant Heads are on both sides of the bowl and are connected with a frosted bunting. The elephants are also frosted. I would be very interested to hear any comments anyone might have.
