Wall Pocket, Birch Bark Native American?

Description: A wallpocket made of Birch Bark and woven with reeds? I believe this was made by a Native American. Perhaps as a roadside souvenir? Measures 10 in. x 8 in. In pretty good condition. I believe it was produced sometime in the '40's-'60's era. Interesting item to display.
