View Larger Image   Japanese Vintage Lacquered Box.   Description: An early 20th century Japanese lacquered box. Plain black lacquered sides and interior. Lid has mottled design to one area, and brick red lacquered flowers on the other. There is the remains of a bird on the mottled sides, mostly worn off. There are a few chips etc. to the body, as is usually the case. Box measures 17.5cm by 12cm and 7.5cm high (7 inches by 4.3/4 inches and 3 inches high).
