This is a 1920 printing of the "AMERICAN MACHINISTS' HANDBOOK" as printed on the title page. Printed in PA. by the Maple Press. "A REFERENCE BOOK OF MACHINE SHOP AND DRAWING ROOM DATA, METHODS AND DEFINITIONS". By "FRED H. COLVIN" AND "FRANK A. STANLEY" 3RD Edition, 3rd impression. This is a good clean copy with a black (leather like) semi-hard cover, with gold letter on the spine and front cover. The page edges are gold covered on all three sides. The cover is in very good condition with no spine cracks, a few very minor stains, very little minor rub wear on the edges of the exterior. Pages are very clean, with some minor shop dirt and finger prints, on about 2% of the pages, very minor age toning, no scribles stains or tears, a name on the inside cover, a few creases on a few pages from being folded over. This is a well illustrated book, many diagrams and date charts. There is a total of 758 pages, covering about every reference issue that the above laymen may encounter in their work in 1920's era. A very nice copy of this work, printed in the U.S.A., originally copyright in 1908! This book measure 1.0" x 4" x 7". One of the nicest I've seen!
