View Larger Image   Victorian Andirons Cast Iron Faces   Description: Offering this pair of 19th century victorian cast iron chenets andirons; handsome raised detailed faces (look like lions faces with a smile - reminiscent of the doorknocker that was on Scrooge's door in the story A Christmas Carol); surrounded by scrolled leaves and each sets on two lions paw feet. Nice cutout handle on the top for handling. Each measures 14 inches tall x 7 1/2 inches wide x 11 1/2 inches deep - nice petite size for a bedroom or small fireplace. The only marking is an A on the back arms. Very good condition, no cracks or chips, very clean.
