A very pretty set of three jugs - large, medium and small - in the “April” pattern, circa 1939. Pattern number D 6087. Creamware bodies, green outlines to rims and handles, shaped edges and forties.
The pattern is of trailing violets, yellow primroses, and another yellow flower. Tallest jug stands 13.5cm high (5.1/4 inches), the medium is 10.5cm high (4.1/4 inches), and the smallest is 8cm (3.1/4 inches). All three carry the A mark. There are no chips or cracks, but all have a darkening to their feet, probably the result of being left for many years on an open shelf. This should be treatable.
