View Larger Image   Lady Holding Bird Sstatue, Plaster   Description: This vintage statue of a beautiful, compassionate lady holding what appears to be an injured bird is made of plaster. It has a wonderful, golden brown glaze, almost a coppertone, that adds a richness to this sculpture. Unsigned, so artist is unknown. I purchased this at an antique shop in the '70's-'80's era and have not found anything about it since that time. I'm sure she has a name but searching the net I have found no other similar to it. She stands 26.5 in. tall and the base measures 7.25 in. diameter.
