It has the rounded interior bottom to accomodate a beater. Brown exterior glaze. White interior that shows wear from use. It does have a short hairline crack just over 1 in. in length on the interior only. Will not detract from use or display. Will use a beater with a 5 in. cover for the top of the jar. This cover would prevent any splashing while beating liquids such as whipping cream. The beater length sould be no more than 5 in.
