View Larger Image   Large Angel’s Heads Sterling Silver Mirror.   Description: Angel’s heads embossed in sterling silver form the pattern for this large size English-made hand mirror. Hallmarks are for Birmingham 1908, so Edwardian period. Maker’s mark is W.D. This matches a salts bottle and a button hook we have elsewhere on this site. Condition is overall very very good - there is a little bit of crushed silver on the very tip of the handle, and some minor crushing to edges - all confined to the very extreme of the edges, and not visible from either side. The glass has a few minor sratches, but no loss of silvering.
