A good oak tea caddy, with turned wood finial to the lid.
It has a china liner inside, but this is broken in one corner, and has some hairlines - still usable though if you wanted to retain it.
There is a maker’s mark on the bottom of the liner, Suvesco. Regd. Foreign with a mountain. Looks like an early 20th century Japanese mark.
This item dates from the early 20th century, to the 1920s.
Tea caddy measures 14 cm high (including finial) and 10 cm square (about 5.1/2 inches high and 4 inches square).
Caddy is in very good original condition. Liner is as described.
