View Larger Image   Audels Carpenters and Builders Guide 4 Vol 1940-41   Description: This is a nice set of Audels with a complete set of 4 volumes printed and copyright in 1923, 1939, - printed 1940-1941. This set has leather like semi-soft cover. One of my favorite reference book sets for information on building and carpentry techniques from the 1920's. The 1st volume is very good for information and illustrations on tools of that days and how use and care for them. Each book is 5" x 6.7" has a black leather like pressed cloth hard boards, gold gilt spine lettering. All are in good+++ condition, covers are clean, spines are tight and straight (exception - vol. 3 & 4 has a minor pucker in the spine). Page edges are tipped in red. Pages are clean, no tears, or scribbles. End papers are clean. Good tight bindings.
