Striking and unusual, these cordial glasses are carved out of black onyx stone and stand 3.5" tall on pedestal bases. The highly polished surface of each glass shows the stone's natural graining which, of course, varies from glass to glass. The serving tray measures 4.25" by 7" and is also deeply grained. There is a single crack that runs about half-way across the tray, but I believe it from a natural vein in the stone and not from damage as there are no chips or nicks in it. It may also be a stress crack that occured when the stone was cut or carved, but it in no way detracts from the beauty or servicability of the set. These cordial glasses and the tray may have been made in Mexico and will certainly be a great conversation piece for your bar.
