View Larger Image   Ornate Mirror Beveled Glass Gold Gilt Frame   Description: This is a very nice, heavy, ornate framed wall mirror, with beveled glass edges on the mirror, and very ornate gold frame. The frame is made of hardwood, with applied, ornate molded design. The applied material can be brittle on these antique mirrors, and often we see these with much of the applied work missing. This one is in very good shape in terms of the frame, very well made with ample thickness, lots of ornate molding! The mirror glass is in great shape, we note a few small areas near the edges that are showing signs of missing silver on the back of the mirror, thus appearing like black marks on the front side of the mirror, but over 98% of the mirror silver is in very good shape, so you don't see any issues with the mirror unless you are looking at it from just a few feet away. The size of the frame is 26" x 30". A note on shipping. We do our very best to package these old mirrors for safe shipment, including additional padding and foam, and a heavy duty shipping box.
