View Larger Image   Vintage Coal Filled Iron.   Description: Large steel vintage iron, which has an opening top. You place hot coals inside, and this heats the bottom ironing surface. Wooden handle. Maker’s stamps are: “Special Asia. 10.” and “Tested”. It measures about 19 cm high, 20 cm long and 16 cm wide, so quite a big iron. (7.1/2 inches by 8 inches by 6.1/4 inches). Steel has some light surface rust - would clean off with elbow power. Wooden handle has a split off one end on top, but doesn’t effect use. Good decorative item .
