View Larger Image   Rare Jet Mizpah Brooch.   Description: Late 19th or very early 20th century rare Mizpah brooch. Plain and sober as befits a mourning brooch, it is made from English jet (polished coal). So this time the message of love is for a dead loved one. Brooch measures 58 mm long by 17 mm high by 9 mm deep (plus clasp) (2.1/4 inches by 5/8 inch by 3/8 inch). The sides are tapered towards the front of the brooch.
