Edwardian period sterling silver ladies purse - very nicely shaped edges of scrolls and double coving. It has the initials A.P engraved to the front (or it could be A.F.). The chain has a finger ring (so you can suspend it from your middle finger if required). Inside is very fine brown leather. The hallmark is rubbed, but it also carries a registration number, which dates it to circa 1911.
Purse measures 11.7 cm wide by 7.5 cm high by 3 cm thick at the base (4.5/8 inches by 3 inches by 1.1/8 inch).
Condition: It has a few surface dings, consistent with use, but overall is in very good condition.
Seller Accepts: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Paypal and Western Union payments.
Additional Information:
All prices are quoted in US dollars. All goods must be paid for within 7 days of ordering, or they will be returned to sale and the order cancelled. We are unable accept credit card transactions from countries where we cannot verify the address of the card-holder.
Credit Card Users: We are based in New Zealand, and to process your credit card, we have to convert your purchase price to New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate of the day. There is often a small difference in exchange rates between the day we process, and the day your bank charges you. This fluctuation could be in your favour or not.
We are unable to accept personal cheques from countries outside New Zealand. New Zealand buyers must pay purchase price plus GST.
Money Orders: please ensure that only International Money Orders are used, (i.e. money orders that are drawn on US or English Banks, not a Post Office). For money order payments, we only accept Western Union.
Some higher priced items can only be purchased through a verified Paypal account, or an address confirmed account.
