View Larger Image   Watercolour Classic Scene of Women Sewing.   Description: This may have been copied from an Old Master - the scene is a sewing circle of women, all intent on their work. The central woman is posed almost as if she was the Virgin Mary - and maybe she is. Very classic in style, with beautiful detail to the faces. This is a very old watercolour, and there are some signs of insect damage to the surface, mainly to the left corners and bottom area - has been in storage for many years. Could be touched up easily. Painting in frame measures 43 cm by 64 cm (17 inches by 25.1/4 inches).
