View Larger Image   Royal Doulton Gallant Fishers Series Plate.   Description: Large Doulton rack plate, the Gallant Fishers fishing in a pond, with the motto “Of recreation there is none so free as fishing is alone”. One fisherman is smiling, the other is glum. Pattern number is D3680. This series was introduced in 1913 and withdrawn by 1936.
