View Larger Image   Victorian Commemorative Plate, Gladstone.   Description: 19th century commemorative plate, featuring a portrait of the British Prime Minister William Gladstone. Gladstone is surrounded by a wreath of leaves, and the border of the plate is a very dark green/black with gold ribbons and leaves. Plate measures 23 cm diameter (9 inches). It has all-over clean fine crazing, as is normal for an earthenware body of this age. No damage.
