View Larger Image   Victorian Jewellery Box.   Description: Late 19th or very early 20th century jewellery box - wood covered with fine Morocco leather, domed sides to top. Inside the colours are royal purple - purple velvet to the top tray, and silk to the lower cavity and lining for lid. The top tray is for small items, and has two strips of ring slots, and a centre well for your fob watch. Brass fittings, no key. Box measures 23 cm wide, 17 cm deep and stands 11 cm high (9 inches by 6.3/4 inches and 4.1/4 inches high). The outside has some scuffing to the finish, and a section of covering lifting on the lid (can be glued). Inside has some wear to the velvet of the ring holders and edges, otherwise in very good condition inside.
