View Larger Image   Victorian Small Jewelry Box.   Description: Small Victorian or Edwardian jewellery box, dating late 19th or very early 20th century. It is basically wooden, covered with a fine Morocco leather - this leather has cracked and worn on the lid. (It is often better to peel it off, until you have a lovely little wooden box with handle). Inside is a lit out tray for smaller items, including a round in the middle for your fob watch. Tray has gilded edges, and is covered in green velvet. Inside lid and lower part of box are covered in green silk. Inside is in very good condition. No key. Box measures 15.25 cm wide and 11.5 cm deep. It stands about 7.5 cm high (6 inches by 5 inches and 3 inches high). Metal key plate and handle.
