View Larger Image   RARE ANTIQUE MINIATURE CAST IRON KETTLE BUCKET   Description: This is a rare, quality cast salesman's sample or toy cast iron bucket or pail, with a metal bail. Not the nicely cast bail tabs! Most castings have a much more simple lug with a hole in it. This style is rare since it is much harder to cast nice round lug like this one has, and furthermore, the bail operated much more smoothly with this design, than the loop through the hole style. The quality of the cast finish is also very good, better than most, smooth, no rust, no pitting, very clean. It measures 2.25" tall from the bottom to the top of the casting, and 3" diameter at the top of the mouth area. We figure it is about 1/5th scale, maybe 1/6th scale.
