Antique 1880’s-90”s amber pressed glass Military Trinket or Candy Dish with Lid. It looks a lot like the candy dishes made by Paden City for Ply-Toy Glass for children ,but it is not. This dish is 2 ½” tall by 4 ¾” in diameter and 5 ¼” long with bill and matching lid. It has a military insignia on the front and both sides of the hat. They are no marking as to who made it; it does however have a crack inside of the glass on the hat that you cannot feel with your finger but can see it in the glass as shown in the third picture. Otherwise it is in very good condition with no chips .This piece of nostalgia would make a great gift for someone in the military.
