View Larger Image   Canadian Tenderleaf Tea Bird - Scarlet Tanager   Description: This lovely little semi-porcelain figurine - SCARLET TANAGER - is #2 from a set of 30 semi - porcelain figurines which were enclosed as a premium in Canadian TENDERLEAF TEA. The Scarlet Tanager is the most difficult figure to find in this set and I rarely have one to offer for sale. This set is called CANADIAN BIRDS and most of the figures are approx. 2-1/2 " tall. These figurines are difficult to obtain in excellent condition as when found they usually have paint flaws, chips or crazing lines in the glaze. This SCARLET TANAGER is in fairly good condition but has some paint flaws particularly on the tail feathers--see pictures. These paint flaws could easily be touched up with color. I have just been fortunate in being able to purchase a very large group of Tea Premiums from several different sets. This lot contained a nice assortment of BIRDS which I will list here in the store. I plan to list quite a few of them individually but will also do a few groups too. At this time I have all 30 BIRDS from this set. I will be happy to list any numbers that you request. The shipping cost to the United States is $7.95 SURFACE MAIL ( can be very slow) or $ 8.95 AIR MAIL. I am able to ship 2 small items for this same shipping charge. If you purchase a larger quantity of Canadian Tenderleaf Tea Birds or other small items the extra items can be added to this same parcel for a small extra shipping charge per item.
