A gorgeous piece of metalwork, this cloisonne vase features an all-over pattern of gold clouds on a black background with large, vivid flowers and a turquoise bird. There is an area just below the largest pink flower where the enamel has come off, probably due to a blow of some sort. It appears as a spidery glare in the pictures. The damage appears to be old, as the metal beneath it has a patina over it. About 8" tall, this intricate piece will make a dramatic statement in any room in your home.
