Both have blue cloth hardboards with intricate impressed and raised cameo design on fronts and backs, spine has gold gilt lettering and decoration. Good+ condition, slight edge wear, one small split on top spine of one volume. Page edges have gold gilt on all three sides. Pages are clean and tight, except for frontspiece illustration and title page of volume one has foxing, rest of pages in both volumes are clean, very slight age toning but not brittle. Includes 741 pages of all his famous poems including Hiawatha, Evangeline, and many more.
