In the center the butterfly's body is made of three large ruby red stones. Measures 3" long x 3" wide at the top. Very good condition, no missing stones, no tarnishing of the metal, no identifying marks as to maker. Excellent design and placement of stones. The camera cannot capture the sparkle and shimmer this brooch emits. It is definitely the most beautiful butterfly brooch I have encountered in my many years of collecting.
