Darkness Darkness Jesse Colin Young Promo CD RARE

Description:
Jesse Colin Young Darkness Darkness (with Larry Mitchell) Ridgetop Music RT1051 (1995) CD (used-mint) PROMO copy This is a RARE find! Contains Only one track and that is Darkness DarknessFrom the Back Cover: "On Febuary 1,1995, New york Guitar-star Larry Mitchell ( Lead Guitar for Billy Squier, ric Ocasek, Tracy Chapman) Played live in San Rafael, CA with current Santana Bassest Myron Dove and Drummer Michael Vanderhule at a reccord release party sponsored by his label, Jesse Colin Young's Ridgetop Music. That band jammed and gelled into a solid rock unit, ending up in the Ridgetop recording studio backing Jesse (with Steve Kindler on violin) blasting out this spanking new version of Jesse Colin Young and the Youngbloods' Classic rock anthem Darkness Darkness."Now the back of this CD states this was to be released on a CD called Crazy Boy Which I could not find any information on anywhere. Jesse Colin Young's website states:""Darkness, Darkness" is a song written by Jesse Colin Young[1] in 1969 which has been covered by many artists. It initially appeared on The Youngbloods album Elephant Mountain. During the Vietnam War it was considered an "anthem" to the soldiers for it described what they felt while in the jungles This song from the Elephant Mountain album, Darkness Darkness, was re-recorded during this period in the mid-nineties with acclaimed lead guitarist Larry Mitchell and the rhythm section from Santana at the time. It is available only on the Very Best Of Jesse Colin Young CD."Jesse's Ridgetop Studio was destroyed by fire the year this was recorded....this is one of the last recordings done there. Truly a Collector?s Item Details Recording type: Studio Recording mode: Stereo UPC: None - Promotional Copy Genre: Rock THIS ONE IS MINT! Short of front cover having wrinkle this is a Used CD. Like All of our Used CDs the cases may have some scuffs but the Disc will be VG/NM Always an Original....Never a copy!
