The Egg Etui & Scent carriage is being lead by 2 Pink Opaline Jeweled Donkeys with chain swags. The back of the carriage has a Harp as the center feature. Wonderfully ornate side arms with beading around all the twist and turns of the Ormolu which carries through out this piece. There are two Pink Opaline scent bottles with stoppers on the back of the carriage. They set in lacy holders and have stunning Ormolu collars. The Deep green Opaline Egg Etui is a color you don't see often. It is stunning with the Pink Opaline. It has a lovely design on the mounts and closes with a S Shaped clasp. The carriage is a full foot long, 12". In fantastic condition with all hinges working properly. The Ormolu has natural aged patina with a nice high shine and glow. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. A Quality Napoleon III or Palais Royal Era piece that was made for the elite class and specially ordered by the Royal families including Napoleon himself.
