View Larger Image   Saint-Louis Cut & Gilted Glass Scent Caddy   Description: Stunning piece with etched leaves & grape clusters that have gilt painting. The Elegant Mermaids flank each side on the base of the Alabaster Plinth with Ormolu leaves. The Casket opens to reveal four stunning lead crystal scents which have hand painted watercolor scenes of France under heavy glass panes. Two of the scents have glass stoppers while two no longer do. They measure 2" high by 1". Each has it's own cage to sit into on the interior of the Casket. There is a very unique clasp on the front which has a snap closure that moves upwards and downwards to close and open the piece. The Etched & Gilded Casket measures 5" high by 5" and is in excellent condition. It has ornate beaded Dore Bronze mounts with "ring" handles on two sides. The Alabaster plinth is mounted with beaded Dore Bronze and bolted to the base. It stands on 4 ornate geometrically designed legs. This piece is stunning and in excellent condition with light patina. It measures a large size at 8" high by 8" wide by 6" deep.
