View Larger Image   Tortoiseshell Jewelry Box With Ivory Fret Work   Description: Stunning and flawless Tortoise Shell box with Ivory Fret Work on the top and each side. The Fretwork has a flower in the center of each piece and all are in excellent condition. There are ivory bands along all the edges and are in excellent condition save for one tight split on the top front one. Tiny nails hold each of the ivory pieces in place. They are all present. There is a mirror with very slight silver loss. The box is structured with Sandalwood which is in excellent condition. It stands on four carved bone paw feet. Bands of Ivory on all sides and on the interior edges.
