View Larger Image   Trio of Scent Containers In Leather Case With Dore Bronze Lids & Numbered Stoppers   Description: A Very clean set with 3 scent containers in a leather etui for travel. Each Scent container has a matching acid etched numbered stopper. The two end Scent bottles have brass collars and screw on lids. The middle scent container is one of the rare bottles for scented salts. It has a hinged brass cap and collar which closes nice and tight. This bottle is wider and shorter in stature and has a wide mouth. The brass on this set is lovely without any dents or damage. The set is complete with all pieces present. Each bottle has a corresponding number on the bottom to match the stoppers. The etui is made to have all containers set level when in the box. The middle area has a higher bottom level and is square so the salt container will set level with the two scent containers. The etui or caddy is lined in purple velvet with the interior being in excellent condition and the outer area is in wonderful condition with just minor bruised areas. It is of strong structure without any damage such as rot or dents. It measures 3 5/8'' wide by 3'' tall. The Case Is marked in gold, Made in Germany for L.P. Hollander & Co., Boston. The scented salt container is 2 1/4" tall and the scent bottles are 2 3/4'' tall. The one bottle on the right has a small chip off the glass inside of the brass collar and a small flake off the bottom of the stopper.
