View Larger Image   Majolica Jug, Vine and Barrel.   Description: Old majolica jug, with relief decoration of barrel wood with cooper’s bands, and a vine, which could be hops, making this an ale jug. Inside is a pink/lilac glaze. Minor faults - a little glaze and colour loss to the bottom of the handle attachment, otherwise very good indeed. Jug measures 16 cm high and 13 cm wide handle to spout (6.1/4 inches by about 5 inches).
