| Gorgeous box with a couple in period dress and hair dos. The couple is depicted in the first Romantic stages of love. The lid is molded glass with a silver backing which creates a stunning image. The box has Urns, floral, and scrolls. The interior velvet fabric is still present. The fabric is soiled which if intact is normal. A lot of these boxes the fabric is missing or torn but not so on this beauty. The Casket measures 6" wide by 4 1/2" deep by 2 3/4" tall. There are scratches to the gilding and one small dent on one of the sides, one inner scratch to the glass on the ladies lower face. The box opens and closes properly. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. |
