Whitehall Cubist Pattern Pedestal Comport, Indiana or Colony Glass
Description:
A lovely tall candy dish or comport in the Whitehall pattern by Colony Glass, this bowl mimics the cubist American pattern introduced by Fostoria Glass in 1915. The pedestal has a ribbed design as counterpoint to the stacked cubes of the body. Very smooth and silky to the touch, this open candy dish is 5.5" tall and 6" across the rim. It is in excellent condition. Originally made by Colony Glass, this pattern was later reissued by Indiana Glass. Use for candy, compote or as a floral centerpiece bowl.
