Sticht Jaquet Tachometer Set w/Case 10,000 RPM   Description: This is a top quality chronometric tachometer/speed indicator set with 4 removeable tips for checking revolutions per minute on various machines. This type comes with the how to use instructions and has a stop watch type mechanism inside the tachometer with a 6 second timed period, that's part of the reason for the push button at the "9" on the 2.25" diameter dial. The indicator was made in Switzerland for "H.H. STICHT CO. INC. NEW YORK N.Y." who's name is also on the dial face. Also marked on the dial face is the name "JAQUET'S INDICATOR MADE IN SWITZERLAND NO. 2302". The indicator is in fine condition as well as the nickel plated, rubber tipped interchangeable tips (3), the pointed tipped one is solid nickel plated steel. The graduated scale number are per 100 revolutions, and a total of 10, (or 1000 RPM), there is also the smaller dial that will gauge another 1000 RPM x 10 for a total capacity of 0-10,000 RPM capacity. The case is green faux leather covered, in very good condition about 99% like new. The inside felt lining is in excellent shape also. These tachometers are top quality, the cost in the 1980's was around $400 brand new. The one also comes with the original cardboard box in very good shape also. A top quality made instrument set! Case measures 1.5 x 3.7 x 4.7". This is the nicest one we have ever had!
