The plate was designed and signed by Hans Achtziger and was limited to a production of 5000 plates in 1979. It was the first of a series of six annual plates by this artist, and was designated Jahresteller or Plate of the Year by Hutschenreuther for 1979.
In excellent condition with no flaws noted, it measures 10" in diameter and had an embossed basketweave design around the edge. It comes with its original box and would be a very elegant addition to your plate collection.
